The Bay tree has been grown for centuries. Used and grown for its fragrant leaves as a wonderful flavouring when cooking. They have been used for topiary, screens, and groves or as a feature tree.

Requiring a full sun position but tolerating a very shady position as well, Bay trees will tolerant a very wide range of soil conditions. They will grow even in rocky or very poor soil. Even though largely drought tolerant. Best times to fertilize are during autumn and spring for best-growing results.
