English Box trees are a low growing very dense hedge grown in formal gardens or structured clouds formed in a random fashion. For best results, Buxus trees should be planted between 10 to 30 cm apart. English Box trees can be shaped and trained into any shape you so desire; we have several shapes already established from cone shapes, spirals, clouds, balls, pyramids and large vertical rectangles.
Landscape Uses
Many people use Box trees as low hedging to apply layering and structure to a section of the garden, or as a means to connect different parts of a large garden. If you feel formal hedges may not suit the type of flow or feel your particular garden requires Buxus plants can be used in as feature trees cleverly hidden in beautiful parts of your garden, or as different sized balls randomly position against a house.
Cultural
Often requiring a full sun position they tolerate a very shady position as well, English Box trees will tolerant a decent range of soil conditions. They require regular maintenance, feeding and watering.
